Dr. Jiss Kuruvilla

Dentist - Owner

Dr. Jiss Kuruvilla, who established Cornerstone Dental in 2012, is passionate about creating a welcoming, patient-centered dental practice. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2001 and spent several years practicing dentistry in Burlington, NJ, and Newtown, PA, before fulfilling her dream of opening her own office.

Dedicated to providing the highest quality care, Dr. Kuruvilla is a Dawson Scholar, having completed a comprehensive year-long residency with the prestigious Dawson Academy. This advanced training has deepened her expertise in comprehensive dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, the diagnosis and treatment of bite problems, complex TMJ disorders, and restorative cases. She focuses on helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles that support long-term oral health and function.

Known for her gentle, compassionate approach, Dr. Kuruvilla takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns. She combines her advanced training with the latest technology to deliver skilled, personalized care in a comfortable environment, treating every patient like a member of her own family.

In December 2024, her lifelong dream of building a family legacy came true when her daughter, Dr. Sarah Sunny, joined Cornerstone Dental. Together, they proudly welcome patients to their newly expanded Yardley office, offering an enhanced dental experience in a modern, state-of-the-art setting.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kuruvilla enjoys spending time with her husband, Sathish, cooking, traveling, and cherishing special moments with her granddaughter, Layla.

Dr. Sarah Sunny

I am thrilled to be back in the Bucks County area, where I grew up, and to be a part of the family practice alongside my mother, Dr. Jiss Kuruvilla. After graduating from the University of the Pacific with my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2019, I had the privilege of practicing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Dallas, Texas. In December 2024, my family and I made the decision to return to Pennsylvania, and I couldn’t be more excited to reconnect with the community and offer the exceptional care that the practice is known for.

With a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and confident, I take a personalized approach to dentistry, ensuring that each individual receives the highest level of care. Whether it’s routine check-ups or more complex procedures, I’m here to guide you
every step of the way.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my husband Stanley, our daughter Layla, and our husky Bentley. As a family, we enjoy traveling and embracing new experiences, and making memories wherever we go.

Dr. Caroline Littlejohn, DMD

Dentist

Dr. Littlejohn is a board certified periodontist who grew up locally in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation from dental school, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She then returned to Philadelphia region to complete a residency in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Through this residency, she gain extensive training in implant dentistry and treatment of periodontal disease. While in residency, she also completed a master thesis on the effects of antibiotics on the oral and gut microbiomes. She is currently a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she teaches periodontics to predoctoral students.

Dr. Littlejohn’s goal is to make visits to the dentist positive for patients. She strives to not only provide patients with the best care but also give them the time and space to ask questions and understand treatment options.

When Dr. Littlejohn is not working she enjoys spending time with her cats, learning new hobbies, and being outside.

Erica

Office Manager

Erica has been in the dental field since 2001. Erica’s favorite part of working here is our wonderful patients. She is an avid platelet donor and likes to encourage everyone to give blood. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris & their 2 dogs Indiana and Oliver.

Lisa

Hygienist

Lisa grew up in the Northeast. She attended hygiene school in Jenkintown at Manor College, and has been with Cornerstone since 2018. She married her husband, James, in April 2023, and they are proud dog parents. During her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, new travels and recipes, and also practicing her faith. In addition, she enjoys one-on-one time connecting with her patients and endeavors to respectfully nudge them toward healthy oral hygiene habits.

Christine

Dental Assistant

Hey, I ‘m Crissy! I’ve been working as a dental assistant since 2005, and I love helping patients feel relaxed and taken care of. I’m certified in radiology, CPR, and infection control. Outside of work, you will usually find me cooking, hanging out with my husband Danny, snuggling our fur baby Trixie, or cheering on the Flyer, Eagles, or Phillies!

Rose

Patient Care Coordinator

Rose has been brightening smiles in the dental field since 2013. As our Patient Care Coordinator, she loves welcoming patients with kindness and making sure every visit is smooth and stress-free. Here favorite part of the job is connecting with people and helping them leave with a smile. When she is not in the office, Rose enjoys spending her time cooking, playing pool, and making memories with her son Lorenzo and her boyfriend Maurice.
